What can I say? Once again, tired but happy. It is not easy to leave on tour for amateur companies. It is not easy because we can not afford to stay on the right and left each time and then you have to be artists work in the morning and evening. This means odd hours and breaks his legs at the end because you are not only an artist but you're also fitter, worker, electrician ... And 'all started in Villa Strozzi, Tuesday 14 July, where under a scorching sun, we have transformed the stage into a stage where every 10 minutes we had to do mini showers to refresh. But that evening we were there, ready to welcome the unsuspecting public that is found a piece in front of the cathedral of Notre Dame, the characters of the novel, and we took them by the hand through a musical journey that has also become a bit of their history. In the end the applause of the audience frinfrescato our warm hearts, that as in every show of respect, they were tired but happy. But we could not distract too much because half a day we had to leave for Milan, and there is no friend to the audience expect ... Humbly we took possession of the Teatro Nuovo, also helped by the staff friendly and helpful, and we started building our history to better present the evening. The fate would have it, the technical equipment was not the best but so now, we have become accustomed, and it is because the difficulties that we can better in business. There was a lot of tension in the air, and perhaps the first act was not so pleasant, but not for the ear and the eye of the viewer, but only for my desire to always be at the top. But in the second we resumed our usual determination and let me tell you, class, going back to do what we do best: being an artist! During the show there was no applause for the big events, and perhaps that's a little crowded out there ... But in the end, the Milanese public, perhaps more accustomed to the theater, gave us an ovation and Ständige, never happened before, the demand for a last song. The boys are sitting in a semicircle on the stage behind Quasimodo (Fabrizio), which tenderly embraced Esmeralda (Dorothy) and did excite the audience cheering again. Handshakes and congratulations live, via a closed curtain and put the dream in wooden crates, ready to be opened at the earliest opportunity.
My personal thanks go to all of them who worked on this long trip, from the new Giuseppe employees, Mirko, Lucy, Sebastian, Cristian, James, the rest of the cast to which you have added new elements that have immediately felt at home, because basically this is the climate that exists in our group.
